Explore the flow and movements of Tai Chi in a welcoming class open to all ages and backgrounds. Along with practice, you'll learn about Chinese culture, traditional breathing techniques, and the history of Tai Chi. Class will be held in person at International House Davis every Thursday from 6:00 PM- 7:00 PM. Please bring your own yoga mat. You will need an I-House Learning Pass to attend this group after the first free trial class.

I have been practicing Yang Tai Chi since childhood in Hong Kong, learning from my Tai Chi master parents and other masters from China. In addition to Tai Chi, I have a strong passion for Chinese martial arts, including Wing Chun, nunchucks, long stick techniques, and the Qinglong Yanyue sword of Guan Yu. I hope the Tai Chi Stretching class will introduce participants to a holistic lifestyle and help them gain an appreciation for its cultural values.
